Climate and Outdoor Planting

• Hardiness Zones: It thrives in tropical or subtropical climates.
• Temperature: Prefers warm conditions and is not frost-tolerant. Temperatures below 4°C can damage or kill the plant.
• Planting Location: Choose a spot with ample space as it can reach up to 10m tall and 5m wide. Ensure the location can accommodate its potential size.

Light

• Outdoor: Requires full sun to partial shade. More sun leads to faster growth and better leaf colour.
• Indoor: Needs bright, indirect light. A south or west-facing window with ample sunlight is ideal. May require supplemental lighting.

Water

• Watering Needs: Likes a lot of water but cannot tolerate standing water. Ensure the soil is well-draining.
• Frequency: Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to slightly dry out between waterings. The frequency will depend on your climate, less in cooler months, and more in warmer, drier periods.
